Over the past 15 years the HBMA has awarded over $100,000 in scholarships to qualified students for the benefit of the future of business-to-business marketing.
Scholarship recipients will each receive monetary funds earmarked for college tuition, books, and living expenses.
The HBMA Houston Scholarship Program promotes academic excellence and provides an opportunity for outstanding students to reach their highest potential. Scholarship recipients will each receive monetary funds earmarked for college tuition, books, and living expenses. Over the past 15 years, BMA Houston has awarded over $85,000 in scholarships and internships.
Application Guidelines
- Students must be in or entering their first-through-fifth year of college
- Applicants must have a sponsor that is an HBMA member or member company. If you do not have a sponsor, please make a note on your application and our Scholarship Programs committee will help to find one.
- Applicants must be pursuing a Business-focused major, or be majoring in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations or Advertising
- Applications will be reviewed by the HBMA Board of Directors and the Scholarship Committee. Many factors, including the student’s major, grade history, need, and goals will be considered in determining final recipients.
Scholarships are limited and the committee will review all applicants.
